Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, object-oriented design patterns
across topics such as; lists, trees, maps, graphs; distributed caching, recursion, searching (sorting), hash tables concurrency, and basic network programming.
Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D. in disciplines such as; computer science, computer engineering, computational science, mathematics, or physics.
Strong coding ability in either Java, C++, Python, or any other object-oriented programming language
Strong communication skills, comfortable in speaking with non-technical people
Self-motivated and able to work collaboratively in teams and other groups
Passionate about solving complex problems and taking ownership
Enjoy looking at code, ciphering on how it works, and interested in making it better
